Radical Acceptance isn't a one-time event. Most people accept a hard truth in the morning and are fighting it again by evening. Turning the Mind is the practice of choosing acceptance again — as many times as it takes.
Each time you notice the fight is back ('this shouldn't be happening'), you turn your mind, gently, back towards acceptance. Not with force. Not with shame. Just: 'oh — I've slipped. This is what is. Again.'
Some things need turning the mind ten times a day for months. That's not failing — that's how deep acceptance actually gets built.
