The Heart Behind Recovery Trauma
Recovery Trauma was created from lived experience and a deep desire to build the kind of healing space I once searched for myself — gentle, emotionally safe, supportive, and grounded in nervous system healing.
After years of living with emotional overwhelm, anxiety, survival mode, and nervous system dysregulation, I began learning that healing is not about “fixing yourself.” It’s about slowly reconnecting with your body, emotions, and sense of safety again.
What started as a small healing page has now grown into a global trauma healing community supporting hundreds of thousands of people exploring CPTSD recovery, emotional healing, nervous system regulation, and gentle self-understanding.
Recovery Trauma now exists to share trauma-informed tools, calming healing resources, live support, and educational content that helps people feel more understood, supported, and less alone in their healing journey.
