It brings together guided practices, community support, and professional-led content in one place. Recovery Trauma™ is not therapy, medical treatment, or a crisis service, and is not a substitute for professional healthcare, counselling, or emergency support.
- No. Recovery Trauma™ provides educational resources, self-help tools, wellbeing exercises, community features and a therapist directory. It is not a crisis service, emergency service, or a replacement for professional medical or mental health care.
- Recovery Trauma™ is designed for people recovering from trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, nervous system dysregulation, difficult life experiences, relationship wounds, grief, and emotional challenges. It's a gentle space for anyone seeking to heal at their own pace.
- Your wellbeing comes first. You can pause any exercise, course, or activity at any time. We encourage members to move at their own pace and use only the tools that feel supportive. The Ground Me Now button is always available at the bottom of every page if you need a moment to settle.

- It's a gentle button always visible at the bottom of every page. Tap it any time you'd like to slow down — it opens a small set of trauma-informed regulation tools: box breathing, 5-4-3-2-1 grounding, safe-place visualization, body scan, and hand on heart. Use it whenever content feels activating or you simply need a soft pause.
- No. Recovery Trauma™ offers educational resources, self-guided practices, and peer support. It does not replace professional mental health care, medical treatment, therapy, or crisis services. We encourage members to use the platform alongside the professional support that's right for them.
- Your journey has four steps: (1) Create your account. (2) Confirm your email address. (3) Become a Member. (4) Access the Recovery Trauma™ platform. Creating an account and confirming your email are the first two steps and are free — they do not give you access to the platform. Full access is unlocked only after your Membership payment has been completed successfully.
- Registering creates your account and lets you confirm your email — that's steps 1 and 2 of 4. To unlock the Recovery Trauma™ platform you also need to complete step 3: your Membership payment. Once your payment is confirmed, full access is granted immediately.
- As soon as your payment is confirmed, you'll be taken to a welcome screen that says 'You're in.' You'll also receive a confirmation email and a receipt from Stripe or PayPal. You can check your status any time under Profile → My Membership — it will show as Active.
- Confirming your email helps us keep your account secure and ensures we can contact you with important information about your membership. It also prevents someone else from creating an account using your email address.
- Please check your Inbox, Spam, Junk, Promotions and Updates folders. If you still can't find it, click Resend Confirmation Email on the login page or contact our support team at info@recoverytrauma.com.
- Yes. Simply use the Resend Confirmation Email option on the login page.
- Great! You do not need to confirm your email again. Simply sign in using your email address and password.
- Go to the login screen and tap 'Forgot password'. Enter the email you signed up with, and we'll send a secure reset link. The link is valid for one hour. If you don't see it, please check your spam folder. If you're still having trouble, our support team is here to help at info@recoverytrauma.com.
- A few gentle things to check: 1) Make sure you're using the same email you signed up with. 2) Reset your password if you're unsure. 3) Try clearing your browser cache or opening a private window. If you're experiencing difficulties, please contact our support team at info@recoverytrauma.com. We'll do our best to help and work with you to find a solution.
- Please ensure you're signing in with the same email address you used when purchasing your membership. If you're still having problems, contact our support team at info@recoverytrauma.com and we'll be happy to help.
- Simply sign in using the same email address and password. Your membership travels with your account.
- Go to Profile → Account settings. You'll be asked to confirm your new email through a verification link. If you'd like help with this, please reach out at info@recoverytrauma.com.
- Go to Profile → Account settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your journal entries, reflections, and community posts within 30 days, and any active subscription is cancelled automatically. If you'd prefer to take a break instead of deleting, please contact us — we're happy to help you pause.
- Simply use the Contact Us page or email our support team at info@recoverytrauma.com. We're always happy to help and aim to reply within 1–2 business days.

- The most common reasons are: your email has not yet been confirmed; your Membership payment has not yet been completed; or you're not signed in. Please sign in and check your membership status.
- Creating an account is only the first step. To unlock the platform you must also complete your Membership payment.
- Please refresh the page and try again. If the problem continues, contact our support team at info@recoverytrauma.com and we'll help you complete your membership.
- Please try: refreshing the page, using a different browser, clearing your browser cache, or trying another device. If the issue continues, please contact us at info@recoverytrauma.com.
- Recovery Trauma™ works on the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox — on desktop, tablet, and mobile. For the best experience, please use a browser updated within the last 12 months.
- Most reading content can be cached after first load, but journaling, community, and audio playback need a stable internet connection.
- A few gentle checks: 1) Make sure your device isn't on silent (on iPhone, the side switch matters). 2) Tap the play button once — most browsers wait for a tap before allowing audio. 3) Try headphones. 4) Refresh the page if the player feels stuck. If you're experiencing difficulties, please contact our support team at info@recoverytrauma.com. We'll do our best to help and work with you to find a solution.
- Yes. Your journal entries are private and are not visible to other members of the community. They are stored encrypted at rest and protected so that only you can see them.
- Please see our full Community Guidelines page. In short: share from your own experience, be kind and respectful, avoid graphic trauma details, don't diagnose others, and use crisis resources for urgent support rather than the community feed.
- Go to Profile → Notifications. You can choose daily check-in reminders, community replies, and live event alerts independently — only the ones that feel supportive to you.
- Yes. Most content is available on demand so you can practise at your own pace, whenever feels right for you.
- No. Only educational workshops may be recorded, and recordings never include participants — just the facilitator's teaching. Community support sessions are never recorded, to protect your privacy and emotional safety.
- Anything still in progress is clearly marked as 'Coming Soon'. We'd rather be honest about what's ready than hide a missing feature behind a placeholder.
