🌗 Validation (both sides)

Validate them AND yourself — you don't have to pick.

📖 5-minute read

In conflict, most people think they have to prove they're right — which means proving the other person is wrong. Middle path validation says: both experiences can be valid.

You can say 'I see why you experienced it that way' AND 'here's how it landed for me.' You don't have to invalidate them to honour your own experience.

This is especially powerful in family and long-term relationships, where 'who was right' matters far less than 'do we both feel seen.'
