📖 5-minute read
Describe is the second step after Observe. You take what you noticed and put it into words — sticking to what's actually there, not what you assume it means.
The rule: only describe what you could point to. 'My jaw is tight' is describable. 'I'm being pathetic' is not — it's a judgement dressed up as a fact.
Describing pulls thoughts out of the fog and makes them workable. Once something is named clearly, you can choose what to do with it. Left un-named, it runs the show.
