📖 5-minute read
Low mood tells you nothing is worth doing. Activity scheduling gets ahead of that voice by deciding — in advance, when you have a little more clarity — what small things go in your week.
Block them in as if they were appointments. 'Tuesday 4pm: walk to the park.' 'Sunday morning: coffee with Ash.' The decision is made when the depressive voice isn't the one holding the pen.
You won't feel like doing them when the time comes. Do them anyway — that's the whole point. Then rate how it felt afterwards. The evidence usually surprises you.
