📖 5-minute read
Reframing means choosing a different, equally-true way of seeing something. It isn't lying or forcing positivity — it's picking a lens that lets you keep moving.
Reframe examples: 'I failed' → 'I got useful data'. 'I'm too sensitive' → 'I feel deeply, which is often useful'. 'This is unbearable' → 'This is really hard, and hard things pass'.
The test: does the new frame reduce shame and increase what you can do? If yes, keep it. If it's just denial dressed up nicely, drop it and try again.
