📖 5-minute read
You don't build a good life waiting for good things to happen. You build it by deliberately adding small pleasant experiences into your day — and, crucially, letting yourself notice them when they happen.
The 'letting yourself notice' part is what most people skip. A trauma-trained nervous system often braces for what's next, even during good moments. Practise savouring: five seconds longer than usual, five senses if you can.
One tiny thing daily. One larger thing weekly. One meaningful thing monthly. Track it if it helps. This isn't fluff — this is nervous-system evidence that safety exists.
