Practices & exercises

Body scan, top to bottom

Close your eyes and slowly bring attention from the crown of your head down to your feet. Notice — don't judge — what is present.

Hands on heart + belly

Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Breathe softly for 60 seconds. Notice the rise and fall.

Gentle stretching

Let your body move in whatever way it wants for 2 minutes — sway, stretch, curl. No 'right' shape.

Journal prompts

  • What is my body trying to tell me today?
  • Where in my body do I feel most at home?
  • What small movement feels kind right now?
